Only ten member companies received this exclusive award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Mike Hofmann, Managing Director of Melchers China\u2019s Consumer Business Unit, accepted the award that acknowledges our enduring support for GCC and our contribution to strengthening China-Germany business relations. Reflecting on the award, Dr. Hofmann stated:<br>&nbsp;\u201cThis recognition underscores our long-standing role in fostering China-Germany economic relations. We remain committed to using our resources and experience to help businesses on both sides identify and capture new opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event marked the first visit to China by Dr. Helena Melnikov, CEO of the German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), since assuming office. Her keynote address was followed by a panel discussion titled \u201cWhat lies ahead for German Business in China\u201d. It provided a platform for German enterprises operating domestically in China to exchange insights, experiences, while also exploring future cooperation opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Melchers in China<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Melchers established our first office in Hong Kong in 1866. We were among the earliest foreign-invested enterprises to engage in China following the reform. Over the decades, the company has evolved from import and export trading into a diversified presence across machinery, consumer goods, and luxury sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
