Melchers has marked a significant milestone with the grand opening ceremony of its Guangzhou office, reinforcing its 160 year legacy in China. The inauguration ceremony brought together senior executives, representatives of the German Chamber of Commerce South China, and long term partners.
We first established operations in Hong Kong in 1866 and opened our initial Guangzhou office in 1892. Following China’s reform, Melchers re entered Guangzhou in 1985. The latest office opening pays tribute to this heritage while reiterating renewed confidence in South China’s dynamic market.
