On behalf of Melchers Group and Nexus Analytics Pte Ltd, we are very pleased to announce that effective 15th of August 2024, the Nexus Analytics Group acquired 100% of Tritech Scientific Pte Ltd. This acquisition continues to be part of our drive to make Nexus Analytics synonymous with providing customers with the latest ‘Total Solutions’ throughout Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia for their Analytical and Life Science based requirements. Tritech Scientific was founded in the 90s by Darryl Low and Mr TONG Kah Weng. Both of them are from the industry, having worked for many years in sales and marketing of laboratory and scientific instruments in Singapore. They have built strong relationships with their clients and suppliers alike, based on a highly customer centric and knowledge-based mindset. Mr Low and Mr Tong will continue to serve the esteemed clients of Tritech, and over the time hand over the day-to-day operations to the GM of Nexus Singapore, Mr Johnny Tan – lead by the Group Managing Director, Mr Nick Grantham and the Board of Directors of Nexus Analytics Group in Singapore and Malaysia.
About Nexus Analytics
Nexus Analytics is an Analytical Instrument company which is part of the Melchers Group since 2016; after Nexus Analytics acquired the Analytical equipment business assets and team of Research Instruments in Singapore and Malaysia. The company employs 55 highly specialized staff members who are based in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Jakarta to serve their clients. The company also has offices in Penang and Johor Bahru. Its customers are typically from Government Institutes and Universities as well as the Private sector, where the main focus is on Pharma, Food and Agriculture, Oil & Gas, Semicon, Polymers and Chemicals. The company has a consultative approach to understanding the customer needs and to evelop solutions for specific issues, be it an R&D challenge or a Q/C requirement. Nexus Analytics consist of consultative Sales Specialists, Application Chemists, responsible for the pre- and post-sales support and Service Specialists to ensure customers’ instruments are maintained in optimum condition. In 2019, Nexus Analytics successfully acquired TMS Team Medical & Science in Malaysia, and in 2022, we opened our own office in Jakarta, lead by Mr Henri Muller.
